Problem with the burnside is you cant just slap a pair of ultra lights in it if you think its too heavy XD. but itd bring it up to i think 69g? since burnside is 66. Itd still be in a range that people would play, people play stuff thats 68-70 all the time

Yeh the Burnside doesn't have Side effects.
And while a 'Side effect-ed' Burnside could be interesting, I think the Burnside is pretty great already.

That is the weight range i like, right there.

The GZR 54 came out incredibly badass. Very nicely done with this!

I missed out on these. Will they see another run, or is the GZR treatment a one time thing?

The 54 GZR came out incredibly well. I love mine.
I too would like to know if there will be more of these. This is one great edition of the 54.

Perhaps OD should do a commercial release as a "54XD" or something like that? ...Makes me wonder about a GZR Dietz.

Something to look forward to after the Cascade eats up all of my PayPal account in the near future. :-)

GZR Dietz will definitely be interesting. Planning on getting that, if it happens.

Also, GZR Cafe Racer would probably be really different from the original. I would buy that one too.

Just took the GZR 54 out of the box. Been hitting one handed suicides without really trying. This is hands down better than the original. JMTC.
I pretty freaking happy right now. :D
P.S.
Now I have to buy legos, great....

Got mine today and I love it. Is the 63.63 the base weight without SE's or is that including the Lego's????

But, needless to say, im LOVING my GZR 54's. My GZR 54's and GZR CODE2s are my fave pairs at the moment, shame they are so limited cause they are just too good to not be enjoyed by everyone.

Post Re: New Release: GZR 54 in Pewter
First, sorry for the bump.

I'm spending my summer vacation in the US, so I'm in Utah right now. That means I finally got to play my GZR 54. I thought I would post a couple thoughts on this.

This thing is... I knew I was going to like it no matter what, but this thing... It's like the 54 got serious. That's the only way I can describe it. Like all the movements that a regular 54 would do, it does with a ferocity. It's still really new to me, so I don't want to get too carried away, but I think it might be better than the original 54...

David, Shawn, make more of these. This thing is a killer.

I did notice that GZR 54's are available at yoyorewind.com.

If you missed it the first time around...

Interesting, the YoYoRewind version comes with aluminum spikes instead of aluminum Lego side effects.
