Over the last month or so I've been working with Andre to put together a team to build a yoyo to benefit a cat shelter.

Today everybody confirmed they're on board. I'm so excited and lucky to have such an incredible group of people working on this.

It will be a Code 2 machined and assembled at OneDrop
Monkeyfinger will be doing a custom ano
Toxic Strings is making a set of 2 custom strings for each one
Andre has been invaluable in helping get the team together and taking care of the business side of things
...and I'm doing the yoyo graphics and packaging design/construction.

There will be a total of 25 made and they'll be distributed exclusively through YoyoExpert.

Just curious, if this is for a cat shelter why does the yoyo have dog prints on it? Cats have retractable claws,paw prints with claws are canine ( or some other mamal besides felines)

you are correct. those are just generic photoshop placeholders for the proposal while I'm building the custom graphic.

Any idea on pricing? I want one!

Love the cause, love the Code 2, but the ano doesn't do much for me. For a special edition the black is pretty boring imo. What i think it needs is something like the Rebel YoYo's Macrocosm where sections are masked off and then a crazy splash ano is done over top leaving the masked-off sections clear. I think that would look really cool with prints, kind of like a cat walked over a painting or something. I'd much rather pay more money for cool ano like that than black which i probably wouldn't buy, as much as i love cats and One Drop...
