Re: CODE1 Bearing Rim Caps Prototype
Finally! Someone made this! Is there any chance you could sell this? Of course I would ask OD first but....I would like two or three of these...please?

I strongly suggest getting the kit version. It's fun and easy to build and most of the tools are already included. Plus, you get to know exactly how the whole machine goes together.
There are also a bunch of 3D printers that can print out the caps, some of them of lower cost too. I like Makerbot since they provide good documentation and is a great machine to get started with 3D printing.

These are really cool.
Am I the only one wondering what keeps the caps from rubbing against the rims? Is it just super rigid plastic? It seems to be.

Chu,
I have a buddy who is huge into the Maker-Bot scene here in Columbus. Any chance you would post your files for printing these? I would love to have him print me out a pair to try.

I designed these RSM rim caps for the CODE1 and printed them on our Thing-O-Matic 3D printer.
Build em! sell em! We approve, no licence mumbo-jumbo required.

Re: CODE1 Bearing Rim Caps Prototype
Surely you guys need prototype testers right??? *wink wink*
But seriously, I have a lot of RSM/hubstack tricks and it's a little bit hard to catch the tiny ricestacks sometimes (I am pretty good at catching them though). So I would love to try one of these, greater trick possibilities!
