I'm thinking/hoping so. I can't wait to try this beast out and give constructive feedback. Not sure how they did the process with the first Code, and hope they do plan on letting us do some beta testing on it. I'm looking forward to seeing the finished product as well. We might get more pictures either today or this week.

Re: *THE WINNER!* Code2 Entry - Rendition Updated 10/8
Here's the problem with testers: 1) If you hand someone a yoyo and ask them to tell you what's wrong with it, they will a) stretch to find something wrong, even if they wouldn't ordinarily see it as a problem, in hopes to fulfill your request or b) tell you it's the best thing they've thrown because they don't want to say anything negative. 2) For the most part, testers are used to find something that is obviously wrong with a product, a defect if you will. Fortunately for them, Shawn and Dave have machined more than 15,000 yo-yos, and have designed, prototyped, etc. a fair number of them. They know what they are doing and they know what to look for. Shawn is a superb machinist, so you won't find a hack job coming out of his shop (with burs, machine lines, etc.), and because he understands yoyo design, you won't find anything ridiculous that needs to be changed last minute. 3) This leaves preference. You see, most of the feedback that people will give will relate to preference, such as wanting the yoyo heavier, lighter, wider, narrower, a narrower/wider gap, adding or removing an IRG, changing the surface finish, etc. The problem is that everyone is different and everyone has different tastes. So there is no way to please everyone, and that's what you end up trying to do. 4) It takes too long, and everyone wants to do it. Most people just want a free yoyo. But regardless, with the shipping time back and forth, and the time to deliberate, collect data, etc., it ends up adding a good amount of time that will ultimately end in nothing being changed in the yoyo. The above, of course, doesn't hold true for the circumstance in which every single tester (or the large majority of them) has (have) the same preference and desires (desire) the same exact change (such as 1g of weight added, etc.), which I've never seen or heard of happening. I mean, Dr. YoYo thinks the CafeRacer plays 'loose', so there ya go. Also, this is not to mention that this is jrod's design, and he's already laid out the design as is. He will test it and if it is determined that a MINOR change should be made, that's what will be done. I don't imagine he will change anymore MAJOR features such as IRG, SE, surface finish, etc. Last I spoke with him, the design changes/tweaks were going to be on him and Shawn, but he's since made posts about sending tester yo-yos on world tours , so it's unclear at this point where they stand. This is all my opinion, and the final decision rests with Shawn and jrod, so we'll have to wait for their input.
