 Skyrim
Fallout 3 certainly took a chunk of my life. Thoughts on Bethesda's latest?

Wifey is going right now to pick it up for me for my birthday. 11-11-11, it was meant to be.

 Re: Skyrim
Where do you think I've been!!! - So far it's been pretty epic. I am currently getting owned by some epic vampire in this tomb. I might have to come back when I level up a bit more. I can almost get him but he seems to shank me and tap my life at the same time. I do have to say. It's refreshing to play a game that completely sucks me in. I haven't felt this way about a game in quite some time. I find my self just zoning in on it and I get nervous going into places, sneaking, etc. I've caught my self getting startled when a loud noise comes up or something that was unintended, haha!

No way homie; you called me in the AM when I was sleeping (10AM). You know I'm not a morning person. cowmamba wrote: Where do you think I've been!!! - So far it's been pretty epic. Awesome! I have to agree with this. I started to play Oblivion for the first time a few months ago and couldn't play it for more than an hour. I was completely disinterested and felt entirely too lost. However, I'm really really enjoying the open world and the options of this game. The leveling system, perks, etc. are really nice. The difficulty level is just right for me, as it's challenging but not impossible. Plus, who doesn't want to feel like a badass for being able to shout at a dragon?

 Re: Skyrim
I kind of hope that there would be less dragons. Would make them feel more epic. 15 hours of playtime at the moment with my Nord 2h weapon guy. Have barely touched the main questline.

 Re: Skyrim
so i fighting my fourth dragon and he has me eating apples and carrots behind a rock trying not to die. when i finally deliver the death blow, he lands on a horse which i accidentally hit.
the horse, as it turns out, is WAY HARDER to kill than the dragon and i have to run for my life. i swim across the river to escape Sea Biscuits rage. the only place to come to shore is between two...god, "saber walrus'"? i dunno, they were ugly, but they must have seen the whole thing with the horse and thought they were next cause they started chasing me up the mountain. so i run and run but they wont leave me alone, i get to the top of a ridge only to find a snow troll which got the email from the horse as well and goes well, ape schlitz and kills me.
best thing ive ever seen in a video game!
currently a 14th level katjit...catschlitz...inspector gadget, a cat person named Sir Cuddleswurth. working my way towards arch mage at the college. thinking about becoming a werewolf.

CATDOG also, randomly, while climbing a mountain, i fell on top of a dragon. it was supposed to be hidden for after some dungeon, but somehow i skipped it all. woot level 15 human thing! also, for you cool peeps who like to check out cheats, use the console command: (accessed by pressing ~) coc qasmoke it brings you to a room with every item in the game. i made a char with decked out everything, and can kill a dragon in only a few hits that's only for my fun char though.

 Re: Skyrim
So, where's everyone at in this? I'm still roaming around doing a lot of side quests, attempting to up my character. I'm a level 28 I believe and currently on a goose chase for my future bride as well as trying to recruit a new follower, as the mage I had following me was absurdly powerful but the friendly fire was causing me to die almost immediately. What say you, fellow dovahkiin?
