I'd also like to reiterate what I said earlier in this thread - thanks much David and Shawn for doing this! You guys seriously rock, and it's an honor to have the chance to work with the best in the business.

 Re: VOTE!!!!
This is awesome. Definitely a worth winner to the contest.
If money and resources were no object, there are about a dozen throws I'd love to see some out of this though. Please, participants, don't give up on your dream! There was no anti-compete clause in this contest, right? See what you can do to get your yo-yos made! I know I'd still like to try it with my own sometime. Even a plastic prototype would be fun to play with.
Congrats JRod! Can't wait to try out your vision.

 Re: VOTE!!!!
dirty birdy wrote: Now that's boring! We were waiting for a witty comeback... db Blame me. I did the renders for J in Illustrator. In order to help everyone out I had to use a third party Illustrator plug-in to convert the .ai files to .dxf files. I am just glad the .dxf files opened correctly in the CAD program that Shawn and David use to render their yo-yos. Just makes it that much sooner that we get to see J's yo-yo in tangible, touchable form. I have a question: What CAD program do you guys use in the shop to render your yo-yo designs?

We us Bobcad. It's inexpensive and gets the job done.

Watching him manipulate the machine code is another thing together. It's legitimately like watching Neo interpret the Matrix. It's wild.

 Re: VOTE!!!!
I wonder if I'm the only one who is already brainstorming for Code 3 ideas?
