 Re: VOTE!!!!
Tough decision. The two in the lead are certainly my favorites! (Jrod, and Clifton)
Can't wait to see the final results!

 Re: VOTE!!!!
David and Shawn, It sounds like the public is demanding that more than one be made.

 Re: VOTE!!!!
Such a tough decision!!!
I just want to thank One Drop for doing this.. and I'd also like to congratulate everyone that made an entry and has made it to the voting stage.
You've all had some fantastic ideas.... it's just too bad I could only choose one. Good luck to everyone!

 Re: VOTE!!!!
There is still a lot more time to vote. Underdogs could still make a comeback. I hope people are not voting out of panic. People should vote for what they want. I don't feel people should vote for something they don't want just so that something they really really don't want wins. There are many many great entries. I personally don't see why any one yoyo should be leagues in front of the next in terms of votes right now.

 Re: VOTE!!!!
I seem to be in third place at the moment. That is great, I honestly did not expect to get that high. That being said, I have have already stated the merits of my design. So all I have to say is this: If you don't vote for my design please throw your vote towards jrodriguez' design. He did an amazing job on his and it deserves to be made. It is the one I would most like to add to my collection... if mine does not win obviously.

 Re: VOTE!!!!
Douglas Brown's design is something that I would really like to see made. My other favorites include Jrodriguez's and Ryanlim92's, and CrispyG's.

I was really hoping for a v-shape YYR-type design, like CrispyG's.

 Re: VOTE!!!!
CrispyG's doesn't have any votes right now, but it was my very close #2 pick. Almost a toss up between that one and saintrobyn's. I would love to have either of those. Re: VOTE!!!!
Wow, deciding on who to vote was a lot harder than I imagined. Great designs and well done to everyone who participated.

 Re: VOTE!!!!
I put more thought into that decision than I did when I was picking out my last car.
May the best design win! Congratulations to everyone involved!

 Re: VOTE!!!!
It's sad how the advantage goes to the entries at the top of the list because of the possibility that people stop looking through the rest of the entries after they have "chosen" one near the top.

Just to give more on my goal - I was aiming for a performance oriented, all catch zone design that is wider than what One Drop currently offers, comfortable, would be great for 1a, 5a, and horizontal play, and has a proper IRG. And to put it bluntly, this incorporates what I like from the yoyos that I consider to be the craziest performers (particularly the Pro and the Avalanche - love the Pro for 1a, but not 5a, and the reverse for the Avalanche) and is an answer for those folks who want something big and wide but aren't down with outsourcing.

I have no problem with the design, and in fact I love it. The point of the project is to design what you love, and that's exactly what you did. More power to you. I only wanted to indicate that my preference for this particular yoyo would be something in the medium size range, as there are tons of oversize offerings to choose from these days. I think the Armstrong will fit the bill for what you described, and knowing that, I think having something from 52-54mm would fill out ODs lineup more nicely, as they haven't created anything in that range aside from machining the BPZL (which is awesome, BTW). I'll happily throw your design if it were to win, though. I think it looks great; just would look better at 53mm.

 Re: VOTE!!!!
Thanks for sharing the thoughts and for the kind words! I like the Armstrong design a lot, and I'm sure I'll love it for 1a, but I'd really love to see something wider than 42mm from OD.
