Post Drop/slack tricks?
Last summer I was in Minneapolis and learned this trick from Mick at the Air Traffic yoyo club:

It is a simple trick, but a lot of fun. I am looking for more tricks that use a drop/slack move like this. I know I have seen some more out there, but do not know any of the names.

Any suggestions?

I don't have any suggestions, but I did want to say thanks for posting this up here. It gave me something other then WoW to do since classes were canceled.

Here's another one...... just posted. Although, it's not much of a tutorial though....you'll have to break it down in slow mo.

yoyogirl - Many thanks for posting these tutorials. I was in a bit of a funk and needed a new trick. Just landed Square Flow for the first time; great trick!

Before the pop up...... make sure you swing the yoyo counter-clockwise, underpass the string from you TH finger so it looks like you're kind of in a Mach 5 hold but with a single string behind it. Then pop up and land on Mach 5 hold........ basically the top string. Hope that helps. :)

Yep Nhi....still lost  . Every time I go to do the pop I either end up in a trapeze or this weird hold with 2 loops on my NTH index and a single loop twisted on my TH index. This dang pop is drivin me nuts, I'm sure it's something simple I am just missing or over complicating........

Just to make sure I'm where I need to be before the underpass and pop, the hold there should be the same as if (for a right hander ) you rolled a trapeze counter clockwise over your NTH and put your TH index finger into the loop(if that makes any sence), if not than I have something wrong at that point.

Thanks Nhi, I've pretty well done the same thing with the video to make sure I have the holds right and I'm positive I do. Its just when I pop the yoyo up and go to uncross my hands that things go wrong.
