 Re: Site issues or bugs
hey, is the store working? i'm trying to buy some 422 and some hat pads and when i hit "add to cart", it brings up a page that says my cart is empty and if i'm using safari, to allow cookies. but i'm using firefox. to be sure, since i'm on a mac, i got on safari and set it to accept cookies and i'm stil getting the same problem. i even had my girlfriend try on her laptop, which is using windows xp. this same thing is also happening over on www.yoyogstring.com, which is using the same setup. i tried this morning and just now, so this seems to have been going on all day. and i've bought several times from both sites and never had a problem. hmm...

Yes there is an issue and Jeremy is working on it right now. Same issue would affect Gstring.

 Re: Site issues or bugs
Yes, it was the programmers fault. While fixing another bug, I accidentally set the Ajax network connection timeouts to 100 milliseconds The server is fast, but it ain't that fast Anyway, it's now fixed. Thanks for your patience!

 Re: Site issues or bugs
hat pads, flow groove pads, 422, and a 5-pack of 10-ball bearings scooped in my ice cream truck.
i was beginning to think i should just go to bed yesterday: the webcart's down, the stop and shop's out of shrimp salad, and a trip to blockbuster yielded TRANSFORMERS: THE MOVIE and WEIRD SCIENCE, which were the best titles out of their paltry selection. heck, i was about to rent KISS OF THE DRAGON. i was desperate.
but today, the webcart's working, i have an everything bagel with lox and cream cheese, and MONSTER IN A BOX has come from netflix. life is good.
thanks, jeremy!

 Re: Site issues or bugs
The wife and I live on netflix instant play, it has replaced movie rentals (even most netflix rentals) and television. Oh, and that reminds me, I need to make more bagels...

 Re: Site issues or bugs
See, when I added the dummy code (which is an Ajax callback for requests that don't actually require callbacks) I didn't think it would actually *terminate* the connection, just not process the callback. Boy was my assumption incorrect--and you know what they say about assumptions: they make an 'ass' out of 'u' and 'mption'. Wait... did I get that saying right...?

 Re: Site issues or bugs
dude, i wish i could order a lox & cream cheese everything bagel on the internet. to save me the trouble of walking next door and getting 'tude from the rich teenagers who resent having to get a summer job.
not to mention enduring HANGOVER-themed jokes, since i look like zach galifianakis and it's taken everyone this long to figure it out.
please start selling bagels. refrigerated boxes. i don't mind planning ahead.

 Re: Site issues or bugs
So me and da boyz took a little tour of the 'hood to see if we could help find the missing shopping cart, and find it we did... Unfortunately, it wasn't in the best of shape, so we hauled it back to Area 51 to fix it up and make a few adjustments. We're working double shifts here to complete it and get it back to you by Sunday. I think you'll find it better than it was... db
