 Home made licorice
I just finished a writeup and recipe for home made red licorice (as well as mango and kiwi, the mango is my fav).

Shawn works with aluminum and titanium, hot sugar's got nuthin' on Shawn's hot metals! Should be a cakewalk (or licorice extrudi-twister) for him to make! db

 Re: Home made licorice
yeah, 265F really isn't that hot, but the problem looks to be if you have any sorta heatsink (like from the metal) it'll cool down so fast you'll end up with concrete before your eyes. This stuff is is hot sugar + gluten from the flour--you could probably patch the Hoover damn with it

The real question is can I lube a bearing with it?
