 Re: Longboarding!
I don't spend a lot on my longboards...I just cruise and love doing board slides and stuff. But i have two longboards for different times like one for crusing(soft wheels) and one for powerslides and etc(hard wheels)

 Re: Longboarding!
Never was much of a long boarder, but I have a couple. Most used is an old Santa Cruz I bought about 15 years ago with some nice big Krypto's on it (we have BUMPY roads here)- it is my transportation in the summer (divided between it, my old Marin MTB and a Vespa). I would, however, give my eye teeth is anyone knows where there is anything like this in Northern California... So much fun, gone now, but man this pool was heaven

da5id wrote: Loaded Ceviche Hey you got one? Nice. Nice boards everyone. Jealous of the Loadeds, the old 1970's board, and the Santa Cruz. I've got a 59" Homemade dancer with some pink Randals I'm going to place (go Paris Trucks go) and some ABEC 11 wheels, along with my daily ride/hillbomber 40-ish inch Never Summer Concept. I need an old school black and white checkered for some pool shredding though, along with some Bennett Vectors.

 Re: Longboarding!
New board for me soon... I don't know about the deck. I'll probably have one custom built by my brother, but as for the rest: Definitely Paris Trucks, and some Grippen's or Orangotangs. You want to board Tabor with me and maybe more this summer Ib's?

Landyachtz Urban Assault.
I know they were getting more into carbon fibre boards, but I seriously disagree with discontinuing this design. It's brilliant.

 Re: Longboarding!
Uwaaa!! COOL! So, I have barely any boarding experience except for snowboarding (still noob at it though) and I tried my friend's longboard. I've never liked skateboards because I couldn't balance on them but when I rode that longboard I was like "whoo! This is fun!". And since I'm tired of walking around campus, I decided I'm gonna get a longboard! Do you guys have any suggestions on a longboard for a beginner? I found a board shop close to where I live and I was thinking of buying a Sector 9 instead of starting with a completely beginner level board like a Krown.

Sector 9 is good in that range.

 Re: Longboarding!
David, I didn't realize you were riding a canadian board. Good choices, you're making them!

No rain in the forecast, sunshine, dry pavement... and I'm wearing shorts for the first time. (canada doesn't let go of winter easilly.) Great day to ride!
