Hey guys, I'm trying to decide between the Xbox 360 Elite or the PS3 with the higher memory.
Can you guys help me?
Do you have experiences with both consoles?

i like the xbox 360 a lot better than the ps3. the online play is better and i like the way the controllers feel better.

a few things i like better about the ps3: no disk tray (as far as i know) the disks get sucked in to it like an apple computer does.

you can browse the internet on it like a computer. (but if you already have a computer that probably wont be used much).

thats about all i can think of that i like better about the ps3.




i own 2 xbox 360s and 0 ps3s. i have played friends ps3s though.

I prefer the 360. I like the exclusive games, and the over all experience playing online is just more fun to me. I prefer the 360 controller as well. My dad has a ps3 and while it's nice.. I just simply prefer the 360. Those ps3 slims are looking nice though. I cannot justify the cost of a PS3 though. The exclusive games on ps3 don't appeal to me as much as the 360 does.

Both systems have great media streaming services / abilities. I can connect my 360 to my MacBook pro and stream videos / movies, music and pictures from any internal drive or external drive. Nearly all popular file types are supported. I know you can do about the same with the PS3. So this does make it a hard choice.

I would focus more on what games you want to play. Then narrow your choice down to that.

What kind of games to you like to play? What are some of the titles you are interested in? I would definitely look at the games first and then systems second. Also, do you need a bluray player? If so, the ps3 is one of the cheapest blurays that you can get right now.

Again though, definitely about the games.

the ps3 is the best up scaling DVD player on the market, and perhaps the best blueray player on the market if you ignore the control eccentricities. if you want to play games though, get a 360.

Leave it to the techno-geek-types to muddy the water and completely ignore the question! (once again, db, our "hero", ducks and runs for cover!)

Back On topic...I have a 360 for the kids to play games on, but not online...there are more important things to life than plugging kids into local and online games...for example....Yoyos!

haha yeah my 360 broke about a week ago, well more so its power supply I'm pretty sure, and I've still yet to get it fixed or send it out I mean I have a Bape and a M1 to tend to not to mention the bad rep light and Bussine$$


But I don't know it seems to me that xbox has a better online network that works better then sony's, it could possibly do with xbox being a computer company but it does seem to be better online but it also likes to break sometimes..

Back on subject, if it's for games, get the 360

I'm thinking of asking for the PS3 for christmas, as it is more expensive.
I will probably buy a 360 down the road.

YoChris, I have a PS3 and I do love it, so if that is your choice you will certainly be happy with it.
It really is kinda hard to go wrong at this point

Wouldn't you want to get a cheaper console... I mean... make up the difference with games dude!

If I'm buying a game system in the near future, it's gonna be a SNES or N64. Both systems would look great sitting next to my 8-bit NES.

N64 is the best system ever! i have one and its a ton of fun

I'm not a person to do the whole fanboy thing, so I'll say this. If you find a system that has what you want in both features and games, what does it matter who makes it?

My grandparents have a Dreamcast. Best. Console. Ever.
But yes, PS3 has LBP.

Don't forget it also has Ratchet & Clank and Uncharted.

Uncharted is fun. my friend has it. I want to get Uncharted 2 though, it looks pretty cool.
