 polishing
i want to polish my raw groovy two fat ladies and i was wondering what the best way to do it was, be it with a drill or by hand, and if someone could recommend a certain brand/type of polish, i also have a grinder i use to sharpen my turning tools, i might be able to get a soft felt wheel and use polishing compound, but i think that might be too aggressive.

 Re: polishing
No need to use power tools, often do more harm than good on small stuff. Go to an auto parts store and get some Mothers brand aluminum polish. Apply a SMALL amount to a clean lint-free towel. Apply it to the yoyo and move in small circles. Now here is the important part, use as little finger pressure as you can - don't use force! Keep moving in little circles until the stuff starts to turn black, that's a good sign. Once it turns black(and before it dries out) wipe it off with a clean piece of the towel. You'll polish about a dime or nickel sized space at a time. Once it's all done, go over the whole thing to blend all the smaller areas you previously did.

 Re: polishing
Anything from an auto parts store that claims to polish mag wheels will probably do. Mothers is a very common brand and works great.
