how to wind a yoyo tutorial
Hey there!
I am Alex, a new member and I want to greet you all. I have a Shinwoo Phantom silver edition and I replaced the factory bearing with a Duncan one. I made it non responsive so that I can do all sorts of rope tricks now. But I have only one problem. I am still winding the rope manually because I didn't find any good tutorials on how to wind a yoyo very fast so that's why I posted here my issue.
Please help anyone and good practice! THANKS TO ALL OF YOU and take care, Alex

Re: how to wind a yoyo tutorial
Thanks a lot, that really helped. But I am also interested in the version where you hold the yoyo with both hands and you throw the yoyo dead in front of you giving the spinning motion and then bind it up. If you do have this version also I would be more than grateful.
1000000000000 Thanks!

Re: how to wind a yoyo tutorial
Now, as I was browsing the internet for 5A tricks I found this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xnzG7PajPLk - When Fedya starts his part he does some kind of a trick (maybe someone can help me to identify it and help me with some reference) that brings his dead yoyo back in his hand winded up just ready to start. It is really interesting to find out what's that trick and share with the others. Thanks a lot! Alex

Well... I don't think it's the same. Maybe the principle but there is a combo of binds that I cannot nail. Maybe it's just me who sucks at yoyoing I'll try harder, I promise! Alex

Re: how to wind a yoyo tutorial
I got it!!!! YOUPEEEE! First, you keep the yoyo between your index and middle finger of your non-throw hand and your throw hand extended above your head. Than you push a little the yoyo forward with your non-throw hand and swap the hands. Your throw hand comes down under your non-throw hand sliding on the rope. You grab the yoyo back on the stretched string closest to your body and with a smooth movement you pull towards you the string around the bearing with your throw hand. At least that's how it worked for me I also feel like I want to attach an illustration made by me, some may consider it stupid but I think it will be useful to someone, sometime. Thanks again to all of you guys for the reply and for all your support! Alex
