Father's Day 2010 Adventures - Yoyos and Kites...
So, my son created the following comic for me on Father's Day yesterday, combining my love of yoyos and kites...

In spite of his attempts above to rid me of some of my One Drops, the weather was nice enough to go paste a few flying things in the sky, so together we headed out to the flying field. With light to variable winds I decided no stunt kites, too much work for a warm day. Instead, we pulled out a couple of single line kites...

To give you an idea about how serious we take our kites, here's a couple of pics with my son (a chip off the old block...) showing off the two kites seen flying...

For anyone interested, these two beautiful kites are made by a small kite manufacturer named
Sun Oak Kites in English, Indiana.
Needless to say, we had a very nice day!

P.S. Notice the inclusion of Shawnessy in the comic hiding behind a wall utilizing a Max Air blower to create unreasonably high winds...what a trouble maker!
