Torpedo is a damn good IPA for sure. I will be drinking plenty of it Nats weekend.

I was actually on a mission to find the best Pale Ale at the Buffalo Brewfest last night, and after trying every one that I could find, here is my top 3.

#3 Sierra Nevada - Torpedo Extra IPA
#2 Ellicottville Brewing Co. - Black Hops Dark Pale Ale
#1 Magic Hat - Hi.P.A.

Samuel Smith's Oatmeal Stout



Boddington's Pub Ale



Big Sky Brewery Slow Elk Oatmeal Stout



And of course my favorite, Left Hand Brewery Milk Stout

Dear Shawn, I am happy to annouce that you will recieve some huge bottles of Grendel Brau next year at Nats. gonna start it next week and after a six month conditioning process it will be ready. I will stick with the standard A.B.V. of 22% which as you know equals 40 proof. I am sure you will approve.

Tallgrass Brewery Buffalo Sweat Oatmeal Cream Stout



I'm not usually a huge fan of Russian Imperial Stouts but I get a craving for one from time to time. This one from Sierra Nevada is fantastic! Sierra Nevada Narwhal.



A damn good porter from a company that I have been far from impressed with, lots of chocolate,caramel,toffee,little coffee, and somewhat of a wine note, dark fruits, etc. Leinenkugel Big Eddy Baltic Porter.



A Belgian Style Abbey Ale from the North Coast Brewery, rich, complex, malty, an all around fantastic sipper. I've only had two beers from North Coast so far and both have been very good. North Coast Brewery Brother Thelonious Belgian Style Abbey Ale. Such a great color as well, a deep reddish brown, just looks tastey .

Tonight I am enjoying one of my personal favorites from one of my favorite breweries.
