Potential side effect problem occurring with Anti-Yo YWET...
Anybody else out there have a blasted YWET?
I have one and I've noticed a potential issue with the use of the side effect system when it comes to this specific yoyo. When the yoyo is put together it plays just like every other side effect yoyo I have used. It's great, nice and smooth. However, I noticed a minor problem when I first took the YWET apart...
First, the side effects were very difficult to remove. By this I mean--- Usually I can take apart a side effect enabled yoyo using just my hands.. place your thumb against the axle, a relatively simple push, and the s.e. comes loose allowing it to be removed. When it comes to my YWET, I've had a very different experience. My 'normal' removal method simply stood no chance against the death grip that this yoyo had on the se's. So, I placed half of the yoyo (response side down) on my desk and pushed. It required a
significant amount of pressure to get the se's to move at all.. In the end, I managed to remove the stubborn se's. But, I feel like it
should be a lot easier to replace than it was.
Now, a week or so later, I have removed and replaced the se's with a few other sets... mostly to check and see whether the s.e. itself might be the problem. Not only did I find that the se's were not the problem... I also found a little "damage" on each of the se's I attempted to use in this YWET. See the following picture... The spike s.e. in the rear features a 'ring' around it. You can see it to the right of the black o-ring. I have found this 'ring' on each and every side effect that I use in this YWET.
For anybody that remembers the story with my 'pink lemonade' 54 --- the se's on that yoyo required roughly the same amount of effort to remove as do the se's on the new YWET (although.. I didn't notice any 'ring' on the se's of that particular 54).
If anybody can help me figure out why this is happening or what I can do to prevent it, that would be much appreciated. So far I have been assuming that the difficulty in removal
and the "damage" are not a coincidence and that they are probably related.. I just have no idea. Check it out:

*Note: At this time-- The YWET still plays great and each of the side effects still plays smooth. My concern isn't that I may have ruined/damaged something.. it's more like... I'm concerned that I will eventually ruin/damage something in the future so long as this problem persists.
Has anybody else out there had the problems I'm having? Anything similar? Or maybe you have a YWET and everything is working just fine? I'd love to hear from anybody else that owns or has used a YWET!
Yes, I realize it might be a good idea to share this problem with the manufacturer... but I thought I would share with everyone on this forum in hopes of having my fellow yo'ers confirm/refute my claim. Also, seeing as how the OD guys are responsible for the side effect system, they might have some information that could be helpful here.
I'm mostly just concerned that I may be ruining/damaging either the side effects I'm using or the YWET itself. Is it possible that the blast on the YWET is causing my problems? Is it possible that something else is causing this issue? Or maybe I'm just crazy.. Should I not be worried about this?
Please share your YWET experiences. Thanks!
