 lock nut
ok, so I've had an excellent weekend of mostly yoyoing, as well as cleaning all my bearings and yoing some more haha. always exciting, and I even learned a few new tricks!
Anyways, i noticed that my MarkMont would occasionally come loose, that is, in the axle. Id immediately notice a difference in the sound of the yoyo and tighten it right back up. But, being a technical person i thought of a couple ideas to prevent this. However I didn't know if these had yet been explored.
-Using some sort of lock nut that would secure the axle into its tightened position.
-Other idea taken from some adjustable gap yoyos such as the Dark Magic, which seems to have a threaded sleeve with some sort of rubber rings at the end that make the axle harder to turn at first, but hold it firmly into position.
....just some thoughts, let me know what you think

 Re: lock nut
They do use Lock tite on the axle side (similar to the lock nut idea...but less bulk), perhaps yours has come loose (if I am understanding what happened right). The red stuff on the axle side ought to sort it out...hell, it holds Lambretta's together and they are a lot bigger.

 Re: lock nut
^ninja'd as I typed following response:
The best thing to do is give your Project, or M1 a stout turn when assembling. Don't worry about stripping anything out, that has happened exactly 1 time that we know of. It was fixed for free and sent back to it's owner on the same day. If however you want to insure that things will stay put with out the herculean effort, one could put blue locktite on the "nut side" of the yoyo(just a drop though). The blue stuff is meant to be serviceable. We use the red stuff on the "axle side" of all yoyos, that stuff is almost as good as welding when it comes to smaller diameter threads.

 Re: lock nut
It's not so much a problem for me, as it was me throwing an idea out there. Seeing if One Drop had explored ideas other than locktite, and so forth.
