 Dings fixes?
I have a 54, my first 54. It was my first non responsive yoyo so needless to say, it has some use, dings along the rim and such. Is there anything i can do about these? you can't re-machine anything like this can you? just curious if there is any hope? I love this thing haha

Option 1: Just play it with pride knowing that all it's little "character" marks are a direct result of you learning how to rock it. Like a nicely worn in pair of shoes or jeans.
Option 2: Send it to a modder to have it sanded and/or polished.

 Re: Dings fixes?
For really bad dings(the kind that will hurt your hand) i just use a little file to get them smooth.

You file them down and keep on throwing, You should see my Lilith, or my TWO, heck I was walking the dog all over the bar last night with my 54, just accept that the throw WILL come in contact with solid stuff and therfore dings are a fact of life! Dont let them get you down! G.

 Re: Dings fixes?
that first big ding always makes ya cry though. i remember my first unresponsive yoyo... my friend Randy made a few hundred, than hands me one to try out.
I immediately walk the dog on my rough, concrete patio, quickly obliterating the anodizing on the rim.
Randy's eyes bugged out. "THAT ONES YOURS".

 Re: Dings fixes?
embrace the dings man, they're like bonds between you and your throw, meaning you're not likely to ever trade or sell i t.
