 FHZ stack kit on M1
On another forum (yoyoexpert.com) someone asked me if you could use the FHZ hubstack kit on an M1. This immediately came to mind.. Dr. YoYo Quote: On the M1 the hex nut is pressed into a circle and made permanent. Once again, stripping yo-yo's is not a concern. To quote David from OneDrop, "The nut is pressed in and has no chance of stripping and no worry about over-tightening. It's totally bomber." So... the nut is not supposed to come out at all? So hubstacking is not possible right? Thanks, ~Jon

Re: FHZ stack kit on M1
It's possible to take it out, I personally don't advise it. Doing it too much would erode the ano in the nut capture and fubar everything.

Re: FHZ stack kit on M1
how we doin? i see that its recommended against but if i were to put the fhz stack kit on my m1 with the intentions of leaving them there, could i still destroy the yo? if not, would the hub stacks effect the play? kinda new to all this so any advice would be appreciated. thanks - rich

Re: FHZ stack kit on M1
I hubstacked my Lilith, and I HATED it. I belive that those device's are better left for other yo's I sold my hubstacks to Splugens kid ( I think). Any way friends do not let other friends throw hubstacks. Any way WHY DO YOU NEED THEM?

Re: FHZ stack kit on M1
most yos aren't designed with the idea of using hubstacks like yyf yos are. If the stack come out to far, they WILL affect play. Mounting will be unbalanced and always off. The M1 with hex nuts might be able to use them, BUT since it was not designed to allow such things, it isn't recomended. However a project can easily support them because of the wider sides. Because the hubstacks are inside of the width of the outer body, the center having added weight won't affect it at all.
general idea for hubstack install: with hubstacks it looks like -|_|=|_|- : NO! hubstack are outside of the yos sides and will cause unbalance. with hubstacks it looks like |-|=|-| : YES! The hubstack being inside of the yos outer body will not greatly, if at all, affect play. If it vibes, rotate the hex nuts until you find the sweet spot.

Re: FHZ stack kit on M1
The project can definitely accept the hubstack kit. They play sexy with them. or without.
