 The Dietz
The Dietz The Dietz is the signature yo-yo of Daniel Dietz. It was designed to be an undersized, Side Effect, high level competition focused yo-yo and this is exactly how Daniel uses it. The shape is unique with lots of angles and feels great in the hand. It ships with a new Side Effect (Dietz Side Effect). Specs: Base Weight (two halves, response pad, bearing): 59.9 grams Weight with aluminum Dietz Side Effects: 62.96 grams Width: 41.5mm Diameter: 50.4mm Stock Response: Flow Groove Gap Width: 4.34mm Bearing Size: Large (C) stainless steel (One Drop 10 Ball Bearing) Finish: Pyramatte (tm)

 Re: The Dietz
That is a very interesting shape. TBH, when i first heard that this yoyo was going to be produced, i thought that it was going to be a smaller CODE1, and got dissappointed, but now, i think i'm going to try and pick one up!

 Re: The Dietz
It is so far from a mini CODE1 it isn't even funny. I feel kind of bad that I have called it that in the past, I don't want people getting the wrong idea.

 Re: The Dietz
nothing like a code1 at all in shape or play, its quite beastly, fast and agile, it wants to compete haha

 Re: The Dietz
This really hits my liking and is one fantastic throw. I have had good success with using Code1 Side Effects with the Dietz as well and can not find a fault with its execution or design. Many, Many thanks to the Dietzer and my Most Excellent friends at One Drop Design!

 Re: The Dietz
for my taste, it's the best 1drop to date. tried Vilmos's at the EHYYC, and didn't want to put it down. fits my hand, plays fast, it's smooth and stable. what else could we ask for...?

 Re: The Dietz
So what happened to Dietz? It seems it was loved last year, many great reviews, won best of 2011 award on yoyoskills and still is my second most favorite One Drop. But there wasnt new release of it in long time, there is new 54, CODE1, but no Dietz?
