ive been playin records around town since 97. i stopped doing gigs when i started to throw. my money went from vinyl to aluminum the second i saw "welcome to naptown". but since i work doing album covers and labels and other graphical shiz in the industry, i still get a constant flow of free vinyl.

and the code2 is very good, by the way. from heavy and stable with legos or ultra lights to "kill a charging bear", with code SEs. but there is no way to set it up on the lighter side, as is. another good 3 and 5A throw. it uses its spin energy very efficiently and responds to movements faster than the burnside. if the rims campher curved gradually from the edge of the catch zone to be single a smooth curve instead of breaking from the straight part, it would be a few grams lighter, maybe a millimeter smaller, then it would be on par with the code1, which in my opinion, is the best yoyo ever made.

Awesome, i really want to get some tables and start spinning. Think i might sell all my guitar and stage equiptment scince i put that away indefinately, lol. Quit gigging myself once yoyo took over ;) but i used to play a mean git-fiddle lol. Thanks for your impressions on the CODE2, im pretty eager to get my hands on a pair.

unless you have a giant vinyl collection, i would get a digital rig with effects built in. or a pad sampler of some kind.
and keep playing guitar, 'real music' is a thousand times more satisfying. i use guitar pedals to fix the pitch when i play stuff way out of speed. so if you do get a dj set up, keep any effects you have, you will regret not being able to dub out your schlitz.

Great pic. It is funny how One Drop has completely changed our yo-yo Lexicon. When I first looked at you picture I though, "Those ar not all Side Effect yo-yos." It to a minute to register that SE also stands for Special Edition.
