 Re: What happened to Yoyonation?

Rather, your words suggest that you knew your decision to hype your store was in poor taste. I've read YoAaronD's comments as simply advice about how to not leave a sour taste in people's mouths, if you will, which you risk doing when you advertise your store in a thread like this. Should any news of the future of YYN reach the YYN moderators, I'll be happy to share that info with you all.

YYN is/was a company. No one is disrespecting anyone here, and to be sensitive to the feelings of a company is to being too sensitive, IMO. I don't get people being upset at all.

 Re: What happened to Yoyonation?
The UK YYN site has been shut for ages. The recent word over here since the UK Nationals, is that Pat has jacked it all in and all stock has been sold to YYExpert at a knockdown price. YYN is def no more. I can't believe he shut the forum down though. Just cost Pat has had enough of yoyos, doesn't mean the rest of us have. Seems a bit selfish to me...

 Re: What happened to Yoyonation?
Hey guys I just wanted to remind you that you can view all of YYN via google cache. You can still view user's trade feedback. For example: http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/s ... clnk&gl=usHere is a link to the "string comparison thread" http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/s ... clnk&gl=usThere is a lot of data out there we should probably try and save. I installed "Google Cache Continue Redux" which is just something that helps add cache links next to hyperlinks so you can actually navigate the site. Hope this helps.

 Re: What happened to Yoyonation?
It would be interesting to see that if YYN is truely done (its been almost a week since the forum went down) if someone could get a hold of the forum and get it out there for the world to view. I for one would like that. I have no skill in web design or pull in getting this done but I am sure there are ppl out there who could do it. For the growth of our hobby it would make sense.
