Post Yoyo Color Schemes
I was very taken by the Larkspur colorway released on the Dietz last fall and have been watching Mother Nature's artistry through the spring for new color scheme inspirations. I know what you're thinking, Zombie Storm wasn't exactly inspired by nature, unless you consider Brett and his propensity to hit himself in the head with a yoyo one of Mother Nature's gifts to mankind.
Anyways, out in the garden is small collection of pansies that went into deep freeze over the winter and recovered nicely after the thaw. The color mix is sensational to eye, especially at sunset, when the red shift of the Rayleigh scattering makes the orange ones *GLOW*. I haven't been able to capture the glow on camera yet.

The color combination, shown below, is a mixture of deep purple, light bluish purple, and orange. I'm thinking the deep purple/light bluish purple wash with a brilliant orange splash would give a nice look to just about any yoyo. I've not named the colorway yet, perhaps you have a suggestion?

Anyone else have a recent inspiration for a colorway?

A while back I had a crazy idea for a colorway inspired by the Yellowfin Tunafish. Navy blue/clear fade, with a restrained splash of gold speckles. I even bought a raw Peak, which seemed like the perfect yoyo to sport such a colorway. But alas, that was right when Vendetta decided to retire from anodizing.

Speaking of colors, I wanted to ask: would there be an official catalog of all the colors OD uses? Like hex codes or Pantone codes or something?

I'd like to create a list of all the One Drop palettes on ColourLovers.

I love that combo. How about the "dirty birdy"? Or maybe "bird of paradise"?

Either way, if OD makes that colorway they have a guaranteed sale with me.
