Mack Finley

Not many people can do 3A, so we are blessed to have Mack Finley on our team representing that style. Mack has worked really hard on learning 3A as well as being a valuable and positive member of the yoyo community. In his own words:

"My name is Mack, but alot of you might know me from the various
yoyo forums as RebelThrow. I live high in the North East corner of
Oregon in a small college town called, La Grande. Although, i spent
most of my childhood as well as part of my adult life in the Portland area.
Oregon is a fantastic State and im proud to call it my home.
But enough about that, were here to talk about that great toy we call yoyo.

Yoyo has been a catalyst for so many good things in my life,
from the great people iv'e met and friends iv'e made to the
places it has taken me in terms of travel and competitions.
Years ago we were all about the Diabolo, and then one day my
friend Shawn showed me the Duncan Metal Zero he bought. He had
a little DVD that came with it showing all these rad tricks
by Steve Brown and Jack Ringka, and we were hooked. I ordered a
Duncan Throw Monkey and we spent the next several months learning
the basics, struggling through the early days of our new found addiction.

About 6 months or so in we met a groovy dude by the name of Jacob Jensen,
or "Elephark" as most of you know him. His influence and expertise helped us
so much in our first year and he brought us to our first contest, 2011's Pacific Northwest Regional.
That contest exposed me to so many cool people, and inspired me in so many ways.
That trip inspired me to pick up 3A once I realized how few people in the Pacific Northwest
were doing it. Steven Kinder gave me some pointers, and Jason Rodriguez sold me a pair
of modded Kicksides that i paid for with a large bag of quarters and the next day i began my journey.
Well, I came back the next year and took 4th place out of 7 people in 3A Finals.
I'd found my style.

Early in my yoyo days I represented Double Take Industries as well as Chaos Yoyo String,
and have been a proud member of the Ditch Down Tattooed Yoyo Club for over a year.
But fast forward to today, I have happily represented Toxic Yoyo Strings for the last
8 months and am now VERY proud to be able to represent One Drop Yoyos. Being an Oregon
native my entire life, i have a special love for Oregon based companies and firmly
believe in supporting local buisness. Well lucky for us, we have one of the best
right here at home so the choice was easy.

Im proud to be One Drops first 3A-Exclusive sponsored player. I hope i can represent
them well, while hopefully helping to make 3A more approachable to interested players
in my attempt to continue to learn and better myself. Eventually i would even like
to perhaps come out with some tutorials for beginners, something which i have found
is lacking at the moment.

This is an unreal opportunity for me, its a dream come true in all honesty.
I'm humbled and honored beyond words and I imagine it will take some time
to wipe this smile from my face.
