Hi everyone.... well I'm stumped. I want a Burnside but I am hesitant to wait for the next run of CODE 2's.... Any suggestions? And I'm not sure if it's worth it to wait for the next OD throw to come out to stores......
I like to throw mainly 1A but I'm definitely no pro.

Are you asking if you should wait for CODE2 or buy a Burnside?

If that's the question, I'd definitely wait for the next run of CODE2's, which should be around the corner.

I haven't tried the Code 2 yet, but the Burnside is an awesome yoyo!

Yeah, that's what I mean... I'm a very impatient guy, so it's tough for me
But The Burnside seems as if it is coming to the end of its production and the CODE 2 seems as if it will be stayin around for a little while, so I dunno.... Is one better than the other?

I personally like the CODE2 better as I like the shape and play more but thats just me. I am sure you will be able to get both down the road there are plenty of Burnsides in the wild.

CODE2 = Cheap TP\YYR but OD and this is awesome!

I have both and I do pickup the code2 more. The burnside is smoother and more stable imo, put i think the code2 is more fun. I love the side effects, and the projection stepping like the code1/project yoyos.

Hmmm.... Code 2 sounds great, but i dunno.... I feel like i dont really have anyhting like the burnside while the code 2 seems like some larger throws like the code 1 and avalanche

For the record, I tested both, and chose the burnside first. After owning both, I would keep the code2 first. On another note, the code2 is more comfortable when it snaps back into your hand, the angular edges on the burnside make is less comfortable to throw.

I haven't tried the CODE 2 but I do have a burnside and I think it is a bit like a hardcore CODE 1. From what I can tell the CODE 2 has a more laid back style to it though as Plamek has shown is also good for contests. The burnside is one of my favorite yoyos for contests and just playing. I think for the burnside Onedrop did just what they intended to do which was create a no frills competion yoyo.

Yeah.... seems like it...... I kinda want the Burnside because it is a no frills yoyo. Most of the throws i have are just for fun but I just want something GOOD now....

All of the more extreme shaped yoyos Onedrop makes that I've tried (dietz, CODE 1 and Burnside) are great for competitions and are great performers. Seriously you can't go wrong with any. There will likely be loads more burnsides to come in great colourways. To be honest I think that you should find either one in a colourway you really like, snatch it up and save up for the other one when you find a colour you like for it to.

Hah. Totally agreed! I think ill just get a pirates cove burnside and save up for code 2. ....
