 Daniel Dietz Official Thread
I have wanted to do this for awhile now and thought it would be a good time to do this with my new yoyo coming out. So if you have any questions about the Dietz, yoyo things, myself, or anything else don't be afraid to ask. Also keep your eyes here for updates on new stuff. I have some cool ideas for this thread so it is up to you to make it popular So in short ask away!

Ha I like this one yoyo wise practice be creative by pushing the envelope of trick ideas build off of other people's ideas ( This doesn't mean steal tricks it means to uses trick ideas and make them your own. If you look closely all the best players do this.) more practice teach others buy a Dietz uses a Dietz practice even more have fun ( remember it is only a yoyo) good question so far. Keep it up! I can go into depth for any of these points if anyone wants

I intend to keep on raising money for them or any other worthy charity for the rest of my life because of the feeling you get from helping others and how much I enjoy it because for me it really is just yoyoing and telling people what I am doing. I really feel happy that I can uses my talent to help better the world. This is why I will keep on doing it. dirty birdy wrote: What is the air speed velocity of an unladen swallow? db 11 m/s common knowledge Great questions so far. Keep it up!

I just want to say im really looking forward to your signature throw! I have a Nickel Code 1 currently but it just feels a bit big in my hands... im betting the Dietz is going to fit perfectly! Congratz on everything coming your way.
...and ill ask a question...
Why do we say something is out of whack? What is a whack?

Do you ever feel weird/wanted/creeped-out when someone like, for example, a 37-year-old man say he "wants a Dietz SOO BADDDD?" (for the record - I tried one and I want a Dietz SOO BADDDD!)

JaysonB Glad that your looking forward to the Dietz. It sounds like you will love it. From the context of the sentence whack would mean something like normal or norm. However, the first thing that pop into my head was some type of small duck like animal. clifton wrote: Do you ever plan on visiting Halifax? Well being that my yoyo was almost named Halifax I might consider. I only heard good things about it so if I was ever in the area I might go. Maybe if they held a yoyo contest Zammy wrote: How much begging will I have to do at Worlds in order to get one of your "Halifax" throws? You know what I mean
Serious question: You have quite an unique 1a style, almost to the point I cannot see any form of influence. Who has influenced your style/tricks?
Btw- Hope you can teach me some of your tech stuff. I really like this question. I never really thought about it. I would have to say Eric Koloski being that I see him at least once a week at A2Z and that he was once my yoyo school teacher and watching him as I grew up yoyo wise really help put me in a point oriented tech style direction. For my chopstick stuff I would say Mark not because I watched his videos online but because he actually taught me in person at the world yoyo contest how to do chopsticks and some of the things you could do with them. This really jump started me for making up my own chopstick tricks. Ryosuke Iwasawa also inspired me to do laceration type tricks. This with experimenting with chopstick tricks led me to develop my chopstick whip tricks/ concept. I am also a big fan of a bunch of other players and I try to uses their trick idea with some of my own ideas to develop my own tricks. I hope this is a good answer for you but if you think there is anyone else I would find it very interesting to hear.

 Re: Daniel Dietz Official Thread
Why is your signature yoyo so awesome? I know a few of the reasons (Shawn + David + Daniel + anything = awesome), but I'd really like to know what else makes it so damn good. I can't put mine down. I usually don't spend too much time throwing new yoyos because I like to avoid early attachment, but this thing has turned me into jello immediately. What the hell did you do to it? Why is it so good?

What the hell did you do to it? Why is it so good? This I think sums it up The Dietz is the next master piece from One Drop that will change the game on speed, accuracy, smoothness, and style for freestyle play. It is a comfortable yoyo to play with because of its shape because it fits perfectly in the hand when throwing it down or catching it making it a fun yoyo to play with. It is an undersize yoyo but because of its shape it makes it just as easy to do big tricks and bangers as a big yoyo while still being able to perform jaw dropping intricate technical tricks. If you don't believe me you can try one for yourself by picking one up at your favorite online yoyo store very soon. This yoyo is going to live up to all the hype. Otherwise it won't have my name on it.
