Hello Everyone,
This is my first post. I would like to say hello and share a very special day with the group.

I have often said the internet makes the world one small town. It is not truer for us than finding One Drop Yoyos and the Yo-yo Utopia they have created.

Recently I was surfing the web. I may have been looking for custom Yo-Yos (my son’s latest interest) or local machine shops (my passion as an inventor). Somehow I stumbled onto the One Drop website and was amazed to find out they are in my town of Eugene Oregon. Not only that, I have been driving right past their shop each day for more than a decade!

As a surprise for my son, we stopped by and said hello. The owners and crew of One Drop were not only gracious but also enthused to show us their wonderful Yo-Yos. I was expecting a typical Eugene Machine shop. Instead what I found was something more like a machine shop for building NASA rockets. The tolerances they are achieving would be hard to match without the level of equipment that they have, but I also spotted their “secret sauce”. These people are absolutely obsessed and focused on building the very best Yo-Yos that man can achieve. By combining a passion for the craft together with the very best equipment they have created a little Yo-Yo Utopia. We had the honor of seeing it first hand.

I want to thank everyone we met on our visit. I sincerely appreciate seeing what they are accomplishing and the dedication for building America’s best Yo-Yo.
