 Re: Mini-Star
Mini review, after a few weeks with the mini * I have to say this Is a winner. Good spin time, enough even for a rookie player like myself to pop off multiple tricks, the size is smaller, but not so small that it is hard to hit the string. The gap is wide like we are used to compared to a full size, and the response is typical like you expect from hat pads. Fill size aigr bearing and precision machining make it spin vibe free. Super nice polish finish- but I think I may send it to OD for soda, then Justin for some sause. I would say 5 stars for sure.

I'm digging mine raw. Definitely a winner, and a joy to play. Great work one these Ernie! Can't wait to see the production run.

 Re: Mini-Star
My daily carry ever since I received it a few days ago. By far the best mini available (much love to the dingo). I remember seeing Ernie say that a special tool had to be made for the thumb grind lip, you can really tell I haven't felt a mini yoyo with a lip like this one has. This thing literally came out perfect. It's dead smooth and being raw and polished you can really tell just how well it was machined. It is truly a thing of beauty and went above and beyond my expectations.
Thanks for another killer throw Ernie, I'm eagerly awaiting the production version. I'm excited just imagining how this thing will play with the gen-yo beadblast/ano.

" I'm eagerly awaiting the production version. I'm excited just imagining how this thing will play with the gen-yo beadblast/ano." Your wait is almost over. I got a chance to play one and found it even better than the polished version. The beadblast feels like velvet in my hand, super smooth/ vibe free, spin time is not a p2 , but at least 80-90% of a normal sized yoyo allowing even me to combine a few tricks. The bead blast stops at the gap a bit above the pads so it wont chew up your string. I love the flat look the blast gives it. Great job Ernie.

 Re: Mini-Star
There are more suprizes coming to the onedrop store from us.
Also, Due to availability, This release of general yo will still have the high quality bearings, except the bearings in the Mini-Star will have a ribbon cage in the center, rather than the usual crown cage. This is a one time event, and will still have the quality you are use to.
