4mm because it matches the axle's major diameter, very important to consider in Ti. Original Sovereign box came from a place in Maine.

So the ~4.3MM gap yo-yos have axles that are also 4.3MM major diameter? Is there anywhere I can read why this ratio is more or less important for aluminum / titanium?

Somewhere along the way during the Dietz development we did a small run of a particular prototype that was later rejected. We are finally selling this run as our first Lab Experiment.

This particular version is narrower than a Dietz and weighs a touch more. The catch zone shape is also a bit different. We have 21 numbered but there also about a dozen out there floating around that aren't numbered. We thought it would be cool to make them available as it has quite a different play from the Dietz and makes for a cool collector item.

On high speed yoyo they list the sovereign as 64.5 grams. Were there 2 different versions or was one page wrong?

I can take this one, I wrote the review.

The review is based on a preproduction version of the Sovereign that was sent to the site several months before the final production yo-yo was produced. During the time of the review and the final production model there was a design change that added 3 grams. The two models played almost identical with the production run spinning longer. I didn't see a need to do a second review due to how similar the two played.

Oh I understand. I finally have one on the way. I've been looking for one since 2 years ago at Ohio States.
