Post Re: Cold Fusion
If you mean the flick out of 1 1/2 and landing in trapeze, it's the same dismount as Bhudda's Revenge, and it takes a lot of practice to land it every time.

My tips for the dismount:

When you roll it out the last time, let it go up a fair bit. This gives you time to line it up and land it. Point your middle finger on your throw hand (with the string attached) where you want it to go. Pull the trapeze out - don't try to just "catch" it, use your non-throw hand to pull it into the string.

It helps if your non throw hand is a bit higher than your throw hand, as then you're landing it into a ramp rather than a flat string.

I found learning this also helps with Eli hops.

Yeah, the dismount is alot like landing an eli hop. I usually have my non throw hand moving steadily away from my throw hand when I land it. This way it's more of a roll along the string rather than a catch. Makes it nice and smooth.
